Production and consumption
Polish consumers are increasingly embracing non-alcoholic beverages, with the average person consuming one liter of fruit and vegetable juice per month. Despite this, the production volume of juice still fluctuated in recent years, having reached more than 9.6 million hectoliters in 2024.Water is essential for the proper functioning of the body. On average, Poles consumed more than 5.95 liters of mineral water per month, a noticeable increase of 4.84 liters per month compared to 2000. The value of bottled water imports fluctuated over the years, having reached a record high of 11 million U.S. dollars in 2024.
Non-alcoholic beverages trade
Polish coffee export value fluctuated in recent years. Netherlands, Germany, and Ukraine were the main export markets for coffee produced in Poland. In terms of Polish tea, French consumers enjoyed it the most; in 2024 France accounted for 16.8 percent of Poland's tea export share. As for Poles, they favor Kenya’s tea products. In 2024, Poland imported tea products worth 38 million U.S. dollars from Kenya.Since 2010, the fruit and vegetable juice import value has fluctuated. The majority of the export value was generated on the German market. The neighboring country imported Polish juices worth over 327 million U.S. dollars in 2024.
